The solar radiation shield is recommended for temperature and relative humidity measurement accuracy in locations exposed to direct or reflected solar radiation. It protects outside air temperature, humidity transmitters from rain and radiated heat. It is mounted on tripods, masts, or flat vertical surfaces. We have multi-plate radiation shield both naturally aspirated and fan aspirated solar radiation shield. The fan aspirated radiation shield uses a fan to draw air across a temperature sensor improve the accuracy of the air temperature measurements, but increase the power requirements of the system.
